We at Launch787 are so incredibly excited to announce the official launch of Austin Involved. Matt Swinney, the owner of Launch787 is a founder and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Austin’s newest philanthropic movement.

Discover. Do. Donate. That’s what young professionals in the Austin area have adopted as their motto as members of Austin Involved. Austin Involved allows young adults to give back to Austin and connect with other professionals like themselves.

On Sunday, March 28th, Austin Involved is coming together to help Candlelight Ranch, a non-profit that serves special needs kids by providing an outdoor environment for retreats and camp outs. We’ll be out there helping to rebuild a zipline platform and prepping one of the country’s largest treehouses (yep, you read that right) for the summer season. We would like ALL of you to join us for a fun day of viral volunteerism followed by rewarding cocktails (we know how to treat ourselves right after a long day of labor!). You’ll also get the chance to talk to us about how Austin Involved works and learn about becoming a member yourself. Please RSVP here if you’re able to make it.

How does Austin Involved work? Members pay a tiny fee each month ($25) which subsequently is passed to that month’s Charity of Choice, down to every last penny. As a member, you get a voice in determining how the money is spent and we’ll educate you on numerous non-profits every month. Then, all of our members and volunteers are invited to join in on a project for the non-profit we’ve helped fund for that month. Austin Involved is open to everyone who wants to make a difference in someone else’s life.

To learn more, join the Austin Involved Facebook Event or, if you’re interested in becoming a member of Austin Involved, please email Courtney Clark at courtney@austininvolved.org. (We promise the official website is coming soon!)
