It is time, once again, for the “oohs” and “ahs” of the annual AIA Austin Homes Tour.

The American Institute of Architects has chosen the most beautifully structured and designed homes in Austin to be showcased this Saturday and Sunday, October 10-11.  This year, the event will feature 14 homes and local architects throughout the city, including renovations, new construction and preservation projects.  This tour is the perfect chance for anyone who is planning a renovation to get some ideas, or simply a chance to imagine yourself relaxing in one of the lavish bathtubs.

You can get a wristband for $25 if you get it early or $30 the weekend of the event.  There is a discounted admission price for children 10 and under, but keep in mind the tour rules regarding supervision of children.  More information about admission, locations, the featured architects and anything else you would like to know can be found on the Homes Tour website.
