Fashion, food, and fun for a good cause is always an event worth celebrating, and the Threads of Hope Charity Fashion Show is exactly that. April 24th at The Phoenix, prepare to come dressed to the nines for a couture silent auction featuring local high fashion designer Stacy Kenyon of Siren Swimwear. Long legged models will be sashaying down the runway wearing her haute swimwear fashions benefiting Threads of Hope, an organization started by missionaries in the Philippines.

This organization yearns to “bring back a sense of dignity and purpose to people who are clinging to a thread of hope.” The organization brings help and hope to the economically oppressed in under-developed countries. Beginning with a mere investment of $100 worth of bracelets, the founders quickly turned a profit of over $1000 in a few weeks. From thatpoint, Threads of Hope was conceived to help the many children in the Philippines and end the abuse that was their reality. Since then, Threads of Hope has been using these bracelets to raise funds, partnering with youth groups, sports teams, and other worthwhile causes, taking 60% of the profits made by these groups and sending 100% of it to help put an end to the abuse and trafficking of the children in the Philippines.

Dress to impress for this night of drinks, hors d’oeuvres, fashion, and live entertainment! Doors open at 8. Tickets are available for purchase online, and only $15 with all proceeds going towards such a worthy cause.
