Who doesn’t love sunglasses, especially when mixed with music, costumes and charity?  Spectacle Sunglasses and SocialThinker.org are coming together for Rock Stars Wear Sunglasses 2009.  To kick off this 2 month long event, there will be a rock star themed costume party on Friday, October 23.

This hip party will be at the oh-so-stylish Six Lounge and will include a Rock Star Costume Contest and brand name giveaways all night long. Djs Toddy B and Mighty Mike will provide tunes so you can shake your rock star body.

Rock Stars Wear Sunglasses 2009 is a campaign focused on giving local musicians the opportunity to market themselves, do some good for the community, and look hot in some sunglasses while doing it.  A percentage of the proceeds for the kick-off party will be donated to the American Cancer Society.  So dress up, come out and don’t forget your shades!
