Get ready for a tasty treat…something seriously sweet is about to happen in Austin. Electric Promotions, From The Mind Of Adi and Team Fabrication have teamed up to present Pixel Pop: a Fusion of Art, Fashion & Music scheduled to take place on Friday, July 16th at The Mohawk.

This action-packed event is slated to be a unique evening for sure, bringing together the wonderful worlds of art, fashion, and music. Joining themed forces are Team Fabrication’s Jen Rea and Erin Mikulenko, set to present a comic book inspired fashion collection, with collaborative art by local illustrator Chad Townsend. Hair and makeup provided by Siren’s Salon and jewelry by local designer Kelly Young of dEconstructed dEsign. Additional art and uber rad on-site demos by Jeannine Schafer, Allyson Lipkin and an array of other fantastic Austin artists to fill up your palette, including make n’ take projects like superhero-style wrist cuffs by The WonderCraft!

Keeping the melodic pep of the event at an all time high will be the music of Candi and The Strangers and The Happen-Ins on the outside stage, with The Bubbles bringing down the curtain, inside. Plus, DJ sets by uLOVEi throughout the night. On the scene and in excellent super hero form will be the talented photo-booth rockstars Trevor Ray Thompson & Annie Ray. Providing not one, but two comic book themed photo-booths to document the evening’s epic undertaking.

So, come out and enjoy $3 drink specials from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, tasty sweets from Blue Note Bakery & be one of the very first to try out the new beverage from those amazing gents at Treaty Oak Rum: Graham’s Texas Tea! With fun giveaways throughout the night from a variety of amazing local sponsors, like Austin Visual Arts AssociationYelp, Birds Barbershop, Sublime Stitching, 302 Designs, *annemarie*, Jinxedaposed Clothing, Austin Aztex, TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls, Lipsting Media & more…
