Have you noticed the hundreds of adorable little white and blue Smart Cars around town, and wondered what they’re all about? car2go is an ecological ride share initiative that has made its way to Austin, and to celebrate, they are throwing a free, all ages event in Republic Square Park, on 5th St. and Guadalupe.

Five local bands will be playing — it’s surely going to be worthwhile event. Hasn’t it been a while since you’ve gone to a show, even a local one, for free? To add even more interest to the event, you will be able to take a car2go out for a spin, if you’d like. Even more, there will food vendors. Need more convincing?
